The Mississippi Spotted Saddle Horse Association held their 2000 year end awards banquet on January 20, 2001. The newly elected officers and board members are:  President - Jimmy Taylor; Vice President - Chris Wallace; Secretary - Shirley Cato; Treasurer - Beth Taylor; Board Members - Bob Cato, Roy Pate, Melvin Laster, and Larry McKee.

The Hall of Fame recipient for 2000 is charter member Roy Pate.  This award was started by the association in 1998 to honor members who have made significant contributions to the association over the years.
