As I set down to write the Editor's Comments for this year end issue everything seems paled compared to the events of September 11, 2001 in the city of New York. The things that come to mind, are not, facts and figures of the Spotted Saddle Horse but the fact that God has blessed our industry and we as a group have so much to be thankful for. I think of William C. Harrison, the Ohio member that lost his battle with cancer September 19, 2001 (See his story on page 2, Summer Issue 2001.) I think of Darren Rudd my faithful reader from Alabama that now calls Tennessee home. I think of the devastation of September 11, 2001 that shook our world. I think of the Firemen, Policemen, Airplane Passengers, Office Workers, the Families and Victims of this unbelievable nightmare. I think of the heroic Ground Zero and Pentagon rescue workers. I think of how proud I am of America and how proud I am to be an American. I think of my friends and family. I think of God. With this in mind, this World Championship 2001 Issue is dedicated to all the thousands of people in these thoughts.
God Bless America.
