Debbie Brown of Lewisburg, Tennessee has joined the Spotted Saddle Horse News staff as Production and Design Assistant. Brown has been involved in the Spotted Saddle Horse industry for 12 years. The family’s Brownridge Farm has owned and shown award winning horses such as Senator’s Sundance, the 2000 Ladies Amateur Four & Over Lite Shod World Champion and the 1995 Trail Pleasure Horse of the Year, Apache’s Best Move.
An active member in the Spotted Saddle Horse Breeders and Exhibitors Association, Brown has served on various committees including the Amateur Committee, Trail Pleasure Committee, Promotional Committee, Sport Horse Committee, Youth Council Committee, Fall Show Program Committee, and in 1995 was Fall Show Program Committee Chairperson. Presently she is on the Magazine Committee and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She is a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary and has also served on their horse show committee several years. Her recent work experiences include designing pamphlets and flyers for advertising with experience in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Pagemaker, Print Shop and Microsoft Word.
Married to Jerry Brown, she and her husband own Okay Tire and Brake Center in Lewisburg and have two children, Carrie 23 and Jesse 17.
