Losses have been cut from $7,000+ to less than $2,000 even with a postage
rate increase in May plus the $11,000 bill for the 2006 fall show program
didn’t come into the office until January 2007.
Freda
Bullard had been working on the Fall Show class sheet and reported that they
were considering combining several of the Lite Shod classes due to low entries
in last years show. They had
added the open Country Trail Pleasure classes and all the Traditional Trail
Pleasure classes including a championship.
Discussion of the class sheet wandered off to rules being broken during
shows/illegal shoes/people refusing ribbons/bad image looking horses, etc.
Back to the class sheet – the Lite Shod 14.2 & under would be taken
out and there would be 1-2 year old class, 1-3 year old class, 1-4 & over
class in the Lite Shod division. All
the Amateur and Amateur O & T would be listed as 12 & over.
