Important Information Fall 2024

#1.  DUES MUST BE PAID BY OCT 1ST TO VOTE IN FALL ELECTION!

SSHBEA members with INDIVIDUAL or FAMILY Memberships must be current owners or co-owners of a SSHBEA registered horse and in “good standing” with the Association as of October 1st to be eligible to vote in the Fall Election!

NEW!!! An “Affiliate Membership” (with voting privileges) is now available for current OR PREVIOUS owners or co-owners of a SSHBEA registered horse who no longer need reduced rates to register foals or execute transfers of ownership. Affiliate members must still be in “good standing” with the Association as of October 1st to be eligible to vote in the Fall Election!

“Good standing” shall be defined as a person at least 18 years of age, current on Association dues, payments* and filing required reports as of October 1st annually, who conducts him/herself in accordance with the SSHBEA Rule Book, as well as State and National laws, and who is not currently incarcerated or convicted of unlawful actions.

*Payments include any sponsorships or other commitments you have made.

#2. Are you passionate about SSHBEA and wanting to be more involved? Consider running for the SSHBEA BOARD OF DIRECTORS. Applications due October 15th!
